Section 2 — Preferences

These settings can be changed at any time from your profile page after your account is approved.

Preferred Contact Method

When another member accepts your offer or you accept theirs, your contact details are shared privately by email. This tells them how you prefer to be reached.

New Listing Email Notifications

Choose how you want to hear about new listings. You can adjust this at any time from the My Email Alerts page after your account is approved. Notification emails come from news@marketfortheblind.com.

No notifications — I do not want emails about new listings. All new listings — Send me an immediate email each time any new listing is posted, across all categories. You can fine-tune which categories you follow from the My Email Alerts page after your account is approved. Daily Flier — Send me one summary email each evening listing everything posted that day. No email is sent on days with no new listings.

Section 3 — Terms and Acknowledgments

Please read and check all three boxes before submitting. Your application cannot be processed without them.

Required acknowledgments I have read and agree to the Terms of Service. I understand that violating the terms may result in my account being suspended or permanently removed. I understand that Market For The Blind is a listing platform only. The site does not process, hold, or guarantee any payments or transactions between members. All buying and selling happens directly between users, and Market For The Blind is not responsible for the outcome of any transaction. I agree to treat all members of this community with respect. I understand that abusive, harassing, threatening, or dishonest behaviour will result in a formal strike on my account. Three strikes may result in a permanent ban. Staff may also ban an account immediately without prior strikes for serious violations.
